Belkis at the front desk was honestly one of the most unpleasant and unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered. She was beyond rude and completely disrespectful—I actually had to get on the phone with Expedia right then and there just to let them know what was going on. It’s such a shame because the resort itself is gorgeous from the outside, and the grounds are beautiful. When you first step into the room, it smells wonderful—like a spa, which I loved—but then you look closer and it’s just dirty. The bed had visible stains, there were dirty handprints on the walls, and the baseboards were stained and peeling right off. Really disappointing experience overall.

The property is conveniently located in central IB. And while other rooms looked like they would be comfortable our room was located across from where the garbage is dumped and the washer and dryer. I messaged the property manager right away and sent photos of the overflowing garbage. I asked to be moved to another room. They said that was not possible. They did say they would give me a 10% refund on my stay. They never honored this. This level of garbage certainly attracts rats. Who wants this right outside their door? I gave them feedback that this particular room should not be rented out as a guest room because of the garbage and noise from the washer and dryer running.
